Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Brought my family here for a graduation celebration. Not gonna lie the price is on the heftier side. Not quite happy with the waiting time as well since there were only a few occupied tables. But I'd say it is one of the few seafood places here where the foods are really good. It may be just our luck on that day, the seafood served were all fresh. The ambience was great and clean, very comfy and felt more atas. The drinks are also nice, just a tad too sweet."
"Best seafood restaurant in Kuching as well, must order live prwan with Cantonese kuey teow & Sarawak soup"
"Came here to try the famous Sarawak Empurau (忘不了) fish. Purchased a 2.1kg live (reared) fish for about 1.6K Ringgit. While the cooking style was good, the fish did not exactly live up to the hype. Fish meat tasted normal, was not as sweet as it was rumoured but likely because this was reared and not wild caught. Other dishes that I ordered were good though. This is a good place for non-locals to try the wide variety of food it offers. Although non-conditioned, the place is not hot and the environment is clean. The waitresses are friendly as well."
"Very good seafood restaurant. Due to our 6!days stay in Kuching we have visited a lot of seafood restaurants. One of them was Lagenda . I have ordered shark fin soup / lamb satay / big king prawn baked in cheese Food was great but not the best that we have tried In my humble opinion nr 1 in Kuching is Rock Road seafood which was just splendid You need to know also that lagenda seafood is extremely overpriced. Rock Road seafood is having even better live seafood and prices are much better."
"I picked this restaurant randomly on my first day in Kuching. The Sarawak soup is really tasty, though it's a bit pricey. If you have the budget, it's definitely worth trying (high quality). Otherwise, the Topspot food court is a more affordable option."
"food is good and fresh. ordered lobster and gave complimentary porridge with lobster head. boss was so nice and extremely friendly and good hospitality."
"Must visit this restaurant after 7pm, got karaoke. Foods are delicious"
"The food is very delicious, and the seafood is truly fresh. The taste is satisfying, and the quality really stands out. The service is friendly, the place is nice, and the atmosphere is comfortable and peaceful. Highly recommended."
